I’ll do one better, I’ll talk about magic. This blog is about me telling it all about my views about the magic world, sleight of hand, and why 90% of magicians are horrible and should stop immediately.
Why?
here are some reasons.
- Kids and adults alike ruin magic by not respecting it and practicing. (Youtube magicians are an Ex.)
- I want to pass my wisdom (or lack there-of) to people who are willing to treat magic as an art.
- Need something to do during work because I’m tired of my boss yelling at me when i sleep on the job.
There will be virtual cookies and milk for anyone willing to listen.
Rants may include postings about theory, presentation, and how to improve magic. (in my humble opinion) The majority of this Blog will be used to help people with their sleight of hand. I will be posting videos on how to refine your sleight of hand basics to levels you only wish you knew if your grandpa was Dai Vernon and was kind enough to teach you his wisdom.
Well, more postings coming later. This blog will be like a river of my thoughts transformed into magicial-goo like substance that will stick on you like white on rice.

That was really an insightful artical. I feel the reason for which you post this blog is out of your love of magic. What if other people who perform the art aren’t as in love with the art.
What if they just do it to show off to their few remaining friends?
After all its just a hobby like any other. Maybe people just don’t care as much.
For example i’m pretty sure you play basket ball. I’m bet your not out in the court shooting everyday trying to be the next jordan. Not saying that you can’t but a lot of the times in life people go for mediocracy.
True, but magic is different then lets say basketball. I can be horrible at basketball and people won’t pick me up at a pick-up game because I suck. But the difference is that people don’t view basketball as a horrible sport because of me, No, the image of Basketball is much stronger than that.
Magic on the other hand is a very small subset of “things to do”. People already have a perception of magic and its a bad one. For one person to be “okay” and perform badly will leave a sour taste for magic as a whole. If you arn’t serious about magic, then I would say they are only in it just to learn the secrets. Sooner or later they will find out its not the secrets that defines magic.

Certainly looking forward to that^
